Shoelovers, this one's for you!

I really am not a shoe lover.  I would much rather splurge on clothes (which rarely happens because I go to thrift stores most of the time).  But lately, I find myself on the search for shoes to fill my shoe rack, because most of the time an outfit is never complete without a great pair of shoes (amen?).

If you are one of the many people who loves, adores, lives for shoes, head over to the NBC tent at Bonifacio Global City this coming 25th to 26th of June for the biggest shoe sale event in the Metro.  Score some really good bargains (up to 50% off on our beloved shoe brands), and find your perfect pair of flats, booties, boots, wedges or whatever type you fancy.  Check out the links below for more information.

Since my baby was born, sleep has been a luxury for me.  Being breastfed, he is more demanding than other babies, and still needs his comfort feed every night.  While his feeding length decreased since he was born, I still have to wake up for a few moments to feed him.  Don't get me wrong, though, I am not complaining.  Choosing to breastfeed Red exclusively was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  Not only is he healthier, but we are also very close and well-bonded.  As a mother, I could not ask for more.

Before he was born, I would sleep late and wake up late, too.  I love staying in bed in the morning, until about 9 a.m..  Though I love the idea of going to bed early, like around 9 or 10 pm, working means having to use the time my baby is asleep to get some work done.

I am a light sleeper, ever since.  Even a slight sound wakes me up (well, except if I'm totally hammered, then getting me out of dreamland is much harder).  There are times when I drift back to sleep easily, and not even remember waking up in the middle of the night, but there are also times when I find it hard to fall back to sleep.  I like sleeping on my side, either side is fine, and I N-E-E-D two pillows to sleep.  Oh, sleep, just thinking about you makes me sleepy.  :P

How about you?  What kind of sleeper are you?

TOTD: Who just makes you feel good when they are around?

I recently downloaded an app in iTouch called 365 Topics, which basically shows me a new topic to write or blog about everyday for a year.  So, I decided to add a new feature here in my blog called "TOTD", short for Topic Of The Day.

For today, the topic is "Who just makes you feel good when they are around?"

Obviously, the answer to that would be the two most important people in my life at the moment: my hubby and our 1 year old son.

These two people are the reason why I wake up every morning.

These two are the reason why I'm juggling work, being a wife, and motherhood.

These two are the reason why my universe evolves.  And being around the both of them just makes me feel really good.  I can be around the both of them and be my goofy self, and not worry about being judged.  And what better way to feel good than just being yourself, all pretentions thrown outside the window. ;)
